i think i have bipolar disorder. what do i do?!

Question: I think i have bipolar disorder. what do i do?
i am 16 years old. i was just reading this site and i have more symptoms than i don't. 9 out of 16 symtoms and i can't even decided on if i pertain to other symtoms. the site i looked at is http://www.psychiatric-disorders.com/articles/bipolar-disorder/bp-teens.php

so what do i do? i haven't told anyone yet because i was just researching it today. i kind of want to get to a doctor first before i tell my parents. whats a good way to get my parents to take me to my regular check up doctor? my next physical isn't for a while so i can't use that as an excuse. would it be a better idea to tell my parents first? i don't want to scare them. i would really rather visit a doctor first if that's possible. someone please help me. my emotions are all over the place right now between girls and everything and now that i know what might be wrong with me i want to know what i should do from here.

You don't sound bipolar to me, but you do sound like you're 16 and have a lot of emotions and hormones going on. Try talking to a counselor at school. If that doesn't work, tell your parents you'd like to see your doctor because of your anxiety. Please don't use internet sites to check your symptoms and provide your own diagnosis. Only trained mental health professionals are qualified to do that. Believe me, you don't want bipolar disorder.

I think I'm bipolar also. My dad is bipolar. I would tell your parents. If you are bipolar and you don't get the medication and help you need it might end badly. Most bipolar cases left untreated end in suicide. I told my mom I thought I was bipolar and she told me to shut up. I hope your parents handle it better then mine did. Good luck.(:
