What happened to me? Was I craving attention today?!

Question: What happened to me? Was I craving attention today?
Ok so today in Drama class the teacher split everyone up in groups to discuss an upcoming project and write down ideas. At first I was into it, but then I just put my head down and fell asleep on my desk. I wasn't keeping track of time, and my group didn't seem to care. After awhile, they started kicking my desk and calling my name, some people were even hitting me and others were making immature remarks. I was aware of what was going on, and I wasn't really deep sleeping. I went on like that for the whole class practically, and then the teacher woke me up, and she told me to go for a walk. I really wasn't feeling well, and I admit that I exaggerated a lot, but at least people were talking about what happened. I was actually pretty dizzy and felt weak too.
So, was I really craving attention? Maybe I was unconscious and didn't realize it? Please help!

Answers:

If you're unconscious at any point, you don't realize it. (But by that, I mean, you're also not able to realize anything else, like the kids talking or what was going on.) And you already said that you were aware of what was happening, and that's what consciousness is: awareness. By being able to give a description of what happened, you're admitting that you were fully conscious. Honestly, it sounds like you were just craving attention. I also don't blame a single one of those kids for what they did -- YOU were the one being immature by not cooperating or contributing. If you were truly sick, you should have told the teacher as soon as you felt it and gone to the clinic. All you did was cause a scene.

Yes, like right now.
