Is it normal to shiver when you have sleep paralysis?!

Question: Is it normal to shiver when you have sleep paralysis?
I had that a couple of nights ago and I kept shivering and my spine felt cold. Is that normal along with the other symptoms of sleep paralysis?

Answers:

Yes it is normal. I once had an episode of SP where I had the delusion that my bones were made of ice. A friend witnessed this (I was in a separate bed next to his in a hotel) and he said I was shivering with my eyes open but non responsive. It turned out, when I woke up I'd had my back against the wall and the wall was cold. Stimuli in the room can trigger and influence sleep paralysis so if you felt cold then this would explain it perfectly.

i'de ask yo doc
