What is going on with all of this? Please help!?!

my ex boyfriend dumped me for someone else janaury 2010. i had no idea that he'd dumped till i texted him and someone told me to "stop texting my man" come to find out it was the girl nhe dumped me for...me and his new girlfriend always argued, we argued for a long time through out 2010... my ex boyfriend went to prison last year in may 2010. remind you, since my ex boyfriend dumped me i haven't spoken with his mom or his sister forthat whole year me and my ex boyfriend had been broken up (me < his mom and sister were really close)! his mom called me last month in janaury asking how i was doing...we caught up on a lot of things... she told me her son wrote her a letter and she has to put money on his books and said "I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND?" three days after that, she texted me this "I JUST WANNA LET YOU KNOW THAT I WISH YOU AND MY SON COULD HAVE MADE IT HAPPEN" then, she called me a week later to tell me that my ex boyfriend new girlfriend is sleeping around and havent heard from her since "NOVEMBER 2010." she told me she left a message for the girl on facebook in janaury to call her, the girl called. she asked the girl have she spoken with her son, the girl said yes her son wrote her a letter the other day! the phone started to mess up so the mom told the girl to call her back in ten minutes, the girl agreed to call back in ten minutes but the girl never called back so the mom called her and the girl never answered the phone! the girl havent called her back yet, and its been a month already since janaury his mom called and caught up with the girl (REMIND YOU THE MOTHER HAVE'NT HEARD FROM HER SON GIRLFRIEND SINCE NOVEMBER 2010)! then, my ex boyfriend sister called me to see how i was doing (so she said) then she asked have i spoken with her brother and his girlfriend. she went on to tell me that her brother and his girlfriend is happy together, their cute together and they got mad love for each other and she want her brother to want me but if he's happy he's happy...she told me that the girlfriend isn't right for her brother, she don't like her, and had no idea that his girlfriend was like that. she said she went to functions and parties with her brother girlfriend she said she hadn't seen her brothers girlfriend since last year and she been missing in action...i told her i know you didnt call me to tell me this sh!t, she said no, she just wanted to see how i was doing and trying to make convo, its how i take things. then my ex boyfriend sister called me again...but this time she didn't talk or ask about her brother or that girl. we talked about school,m work and then she asked me to come over because she was bored! what is all of this all about??? why would the mother and daughter call to tell me all this??? why did they say what they said to go me??? can anybody help me put this puzzle together??? my ex boyfriend sister out of nowhere just started calling me almost everyday... she said her brother will be home next month and she's excited about it! i'm still trying to put all this together because it doesn't make any since, can you help me with me with this??????
