Question: How can a 13yr old ask her mom where a blade is without her getting supisious?

My cutting blade was in the bathroom on the windowsill, and now its gone. It was there while we were renevoting the bathroom and I guess my mom forgot about it being there and left it. I knew I should of put it in my room, but I didnt and now its gone. Im using old staples, but I need that blade. Can anyone come up with somthing I could say to my mom to get her to tell me where it is? Whats a reason a 13yr old would need a blade (besides the obvious). I can say like "Hey mom, Do you know where that blade is? It was in the bathroom and I need it to _______" PLEASE! what can I say? No preaching, No 'just tell her' or somthing like that. Anwser my question, no somthing else.

Answers:

Ask to help her with the cooking one night, she'll think you're being nice & stuff. Make sure to suggest a meal that involves using that a peticular knife then casually say something like "Hey mom have you seen that one knife, i can't find it." If its not a kitchen knife then hide all the scissors in your house then ask for the blade saying you can't find the scissors (incase she tries to help you look you'll be prepared) then say you needed to open a cardborad box or something along those lines.

Let me paint a picture for you, im 17 ive been terribly depressed for 4 years, i have been harming myself for 2 years but then i stopped because trust me if you actually tell your parents that your sad and you cut yourself no matter how hard it is, they will help you.

Get a job and buy your own.
Get a job and support yourself and then you can do whatever you want whenever you want and you won't have to worry about your Mom discovering your mental illness.

It might be easier just to buy a new one fro the drugstore. Make sure it's clean too alcohol is a good antiseptic and it stings
