Most or all the benefit of antidepressants like zoloft is due to placebo effect. Google Irving Kirsch for more on this. Followup studies have confirmed his work. Given that antidepressants have serious risks, it's not ok for docs to hand out drugs no better than sugar pills. Also, did the doc let you know that so long as you take zoloft, your sex life is over? A majority and in some studies, almost all patients get sexual side effects from ssri's.
Some people get used to side effects like drowsiness, but it could still impair your driving. The sexual side effects will not go away.
You really are better off getting therapy, imo, or exercising more, using a light box, socializing more etc.

No, this probably won't go away. You have to consider maybe taking zoloft during the night or before you go to sleep. My psychiatrist made me take my dose before I go to sleep because it made me too tired. So ask your psychiatrist if you can take the dose at a different time.
You can try a lower dosage. Zoloft is also available in 25mg.
I take the same amount of zoloft. My doctor recommended a vitamin B complex pill. It will wake u up, 5 hour energy is made out of all vitamin B. Good luck!
