me and reseach alot

Not everyone thinks that, but I agree that some people do..
And nobody, and I mean NOBODY, knows what it's like to be depressed unless they've experienced it first hand. A lot of people think it's just 'feeling down', but it's more than that. It’s like a darkness that creeps over you and fills you. It drains all your emotions. It takes everything from you, and leaves you feeling hollow and numb. It’s not sadness, it’s not anger, it’s hopelessness. Imagine waking up and there being no colour. Walking outside and feeling no wind. Eating a meal and tasting nothing. Holding somone and feeling completely alone at the same time. When you’re depressed, it’s not a bad mood. It’s a numb, empty, hollowness that seems to never leave. It’s feeling alone in a room full of people. You feel like there’s no hope left.

Because its a non-visual illness say like a broken arm or hernia it has less of an affect on those who have no conception of what its like to have a broken or ill brain.
I would just let that go in one ear and right out the other. That's what you must do because to try and explain it to a feeble mind is in fact pointless.

Ignorance.

Lack of sympathy.

Lack of comprehension.

I had a police officer tell me, "Nothing's worth ending your life over." I wanted to punch him in the face.

Because most people confuse depression with their feeling of sadness.

i think you also are making a generalization, not everyone thinks that,
least I dont.

I guess until they are in your shoes they don't know and even no mater how much you explain to someone they never seem to understand the empy feeling inside u

cause they don't know what it's like!!!!!! =)
