Answers:
The better way is to stagger it!. Instead of dropping from 50 to 25!. Keep 50 for 4 days a week, and do 25 for 3 days a week, alternating days!. For example, if you do 50 on Sunday, do 25 on Monday, 50 on Tuesday, 25 on Wednesday etc!. Keep that pattern until it feels great!. Then, in a week or two, step it down again!. Instead of doing 50 mg 4 days a week, do 50 mg 3 days a week and 25 the other days, alternating days!. Then, after that feels comfortable, step it down to 50 mg 2 days a week and 25 for 5 days!. You will eventually get down to 25 for 7 days a week and your body will barely notice!.

While you are stepping down, eat foods that boost your moods, according to research such as Brazil nuts and fish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be very careful and VERY gradual! SO much love for you! Thanks for sharing with us, and GOOD LUCK on this long journey!

When a person is going to be taken off of Zoloft, the doctor will usually wean him or her off the drug slowly to minimize the chances of withdrawal symptoms occurring!.

I've taken Zoloft as well as a few other anti-depressants in the past!. Each time, I've stopped them cold turkey with no problems!. But then again, I never was on them for very long, and I didn't require that high a dose!. I would strongly recommend you check with your doctor about the best way for you to stop taking this medication!. I know that some people relapse if they come off their meds too soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. It is best to come off gradually!. When I was on medication I tried to stop cold turkey and it made me really sick!. Gradually is the best way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
