Good to hear that you're having ups, some people just have the downs!. I think that your doctor is probably right!. There's a lot more to being bipolar than just this i!.e do you stay awake for 3 days in a row because you have so much energy and believe that you can change the world!? That's more bipolar!.

Don't worry about fitting into a diagnosis!. Just enjoy the times that are good!. If you can, try to work out what you're doing differently at these times!. Are you picturing better outcomes, are you with certain people, are you staying in the moment!. If you can work out some of these things, you might be able to work out a formula for being happy!

Good Luck

Depression affects everyone differently, if there's no particular stress or trauma in your life at the moment, it's quite possible your mood will go up and down!.

I'm on Citalopram as my depression got too much to cope with, a low dose of 10mg keeps me just about able to deal with this difficult life! Perhaps something like that will keep your mood more stable!. If you're a female, perhaps PMT could also be a cause, I personally suffer badly with it and find Vitamin B6 or Evening Primrose Oil taken every day help!.

Good luck, I know what you're going through!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your doctor used the expression 'you're not maniac' then i would go visit someone else!. This sounds like bipolar!. Bipolar is a mental disease that evidentially shows period of extreme highs and lows!. Maybe you should do a little research and visit another doctor!. Bipolar is a very serious condition and should be attended too as soon as possible!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
