We don't qualify for welfare, so how do I get my son help with his Asperger !

Question: We don't qualify for welfare, so how do I get my son help with his Asperger Syndrome!?
The only Developmental Pediatrician within 100 miles ONLY takes Medicaid, and my husband's income is above the guidelines!. How do I get him help!? Our family doctor has said that he doesn't feel he has the qualifications to treat our son, but now I don't know what else to do!.
We couldn't find a way to get him speech therapy, either!.!.!. that place doesn't participate with any insurance, they do take Medicaid, but we would have to pay $400 for the initial consult out of our pocket, which we simply cannot afford!.
I almost feel like my husband should quit his job and go to work at McDonald's, it seems like we're being penalized because he has a good job!Www@Answer-Health@Com
