Anxiety relief?!

Question: Anxiety relief!?
I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks(lucky me), I have been to a dr been told physically there is nothing wrong w/ me, was given Xanax to take as needed and been encouraged to get exercise!. I went for a 15 minute walk today and I felt like my heart was racing when I got back, which got me worried I was going to give myself a heart attack at the ripe old age of 27!. What are the chances that a healthy female like myself, would have a exercise induced heart attack!? The last two times my bp was checked it was 112/84 and 121/71, I'm not overweight and try to eat pretty healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same diagnosis as you!. What you start to notice is, we all think the same way!. We pay too much attention to our bodies, and anything we perceive as being off, we take it to the extreme!. It hard to get a good BP reading for us!. Especially if you are feeling anxious because that in itself makes reading off!. And what you just felt right now, that is nothing as well!. I hate to say it, but most of this is in your head!. If i were you, i would put that BP machine in the closet!. Otherwise you will just obsess over it and take your BP every 15 minutes for the next few hours!. And everytime you think its off, you will just cause yourself more grief!. Trust me when i say you are fine!. I dont know where you are, but here it is 90 degrees outside, i am sure i will bust a sweat and my heart rate will be in the 80s after 5minutes!.!. BTW, that is the point of exercise, to get your Heart Rate up!. Don't avoid it, and keep yourself hydrated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your BP is fine!. If you are worried about check it for a week!. Generally the high blood pressure mark is a systolic (top #) of 140 and diastolic 90!.
Panic attacks can make you feel as if you are going to have a heart attack!. If you start to feel that way and it doesn't slow down take your xanax and you should feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honey, I suggest laughter!. it has been known to reduce anxiety and high levels of depression!. Excercise, try to be in a clean, fresh environement!. And turn on the Tonight show with Jay Leno and laugh!. have fun, thinking too much gives you panic attack!so chill and find time to laugh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
