Depression, help me?!


Question: Depression, help me!?
I dont know how to stop feeling so hopeless!. I know suicide is the wrong choice, but knowing that is the only thing that keeps me from doing it!. I feel like im loosing faith in people and myself!. Its so hard for me to do the normal things that others people do like taking care of myself and having fun!. all that use to be second nature for me!. now all i want to do sometimes is sleep and never wake up again!.

I know none of these things are normal!. but i feel like this has become apart of who i am!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All I can say is I feel the same way and have done for many years, but you just gotta get on with life!. Do you have someone you can speak to!? Like a therapist maybe

I lost joy in so many things also, but luckily, while people look to religion, music helps me!.!.!. a lot

I too suffer from depression and many other problems but I have been able to gain control of them!. Suicide is the wrong answer!. Some people think it will end their problems but it will leave your friends and family devastated!. I take different medications that help with depression and stress!. A couple times I have gotten to the point where life was just too hard and I thought that I had no purpose!. I thought that I was made to handle normal things!. I got depressed over the fact that I worked three times harder than everybody else and I still fail!. Depression really hurts and it can make you feel lonely and miserable but there are ways to help it!. Everybody has talents and things they really like to do!. When I feel useless I think about all of the things that I can do that others can't!. It helps to find a place to relax and ignore the depression by thinking positive things such as things you really want to do that you haven't done yet or things you have done!. Find a hobby or something in your interests that takes your mind off of bad thoughts!. I like giving advice and helping others!. You can also start by setting simple goals and achieving them one at a time and you can feel better each time!. Remember, you are very important and you can do anything if you set your mind to it and don't let anybody tell you different!. I hope this helps! Feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel bad for you, if you are 13-17,my personal experience told me I got depress from the Hormone change and made me feel very sad, irritable, and now in am old and feel very depress for the pre- menopause hormone change again, I experience the suicide and was in hospital for a while!.
Now, I am a little better, I took multiple vitamin, B6 and iron (I was told I was lack of vitamin B and iron on my blood test) , I was given the medicine and consult or to stabilize my condition
but it did more harm the help , so you can try to talk to consul or and take med and take multiple vitamin daily to see if that help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to see a professional so he or she can give you expert advice and possibly the correct meds!. Depression comes in all forms and could come from anywhere at any time!.
Self examination can be dangerous and no, suicide is a very poor choice for so many reason and is the cowards way out!. You need to be pointed in the right direction!. I talked to my doctor and got a prescription!. I can't say it has been the "fix" for the depression!. But, small things don't seem to bother me the way they did!.
I do still feel hopeless!. And life seems to only be a cycle of waking, taking crap from people, and sleeping!. But, I look for happiness in small ways!.
I have found a routine of small ways to combat the world's BS!. I have a couple of thrift stores I visit regularly!. I don't always buy stuff!. But, the hope of finding something I really want at a bargain price has a therapeutic effect on me!.
Also, expressing myself on message boards and "Yahoo Answers" helps!. I can express my thoughts without the "filters" I have to put on in real life!. It helps!

This may just seem like a joke but if you like sleeping so much you should sleep with someone!. Sleep overs are tons o fun and staying over a friends house can help you to remember the simple things you enjoy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you try making some new friends or picking up a new hobby!? You don't really need people in your life to make it better!. There are plenty of things you can do by yourself!. Enjoy nature, take a walk in the park and look at the beautiful trees, go shopping and buy yourself something nice, treat yourself to a nice dinner or a movie!. You don't need others to make you enjoy life!. Its nice to have friends but who says you can't do things by yourself!? I learned that when I'm feeling like that I get a new look like change my hair or something!. It makes me feel good about myself!. Take good care of yourself because when you look good you will feel good!. Life is beautiful!. Sometimes we all go through hard times but all I can say is try to make the best of it!.

Don't try any depression pills!. I heard some sad stories about what happens to people when they come off the pills!. Try to enjoy life the old fashion way!. Appreciate what you have because so many people out there are in worse condition than you!. As long as you're alive you always have a chance to make things better for yourself!. If you commit suicide you will miss out on so much that will never come back!. You only live once!. You will not have another chance if you take your own life!.

Maybe you just forgot how to have fun!. Do you like comedy!? I found that when I'm sad I watch some funny movie or show and it cheers me up!. Laughing will help you take focus off the negative things in life!. Don't take yourself so seriously and life will seem much easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the main problem of the people is to think the world is their problem!. Accutally it's the completly opposite, they by themselves are their problems!.!. None but yourself can free your mind!.!.!.!. It's complete wrong to think a medicine pill will resolve your problems!.!.!.!. I suggest you to make a list !.!. of things !.!. you must do and a list of things you must not do!.!.!. change is the unique way to learn things!.!. You if you fell hopeless!.!. be usefull for yourself and others!.!.!.!. so WORK hardest as you can, and do not complain about extra work!.!.!.!. even if it's voluntary without getting payied for it!.!.!.!. work!.!.!. if you really have a organic problems - clinical depression look for a psychiatric - medical that can prescribe medication!.!. to help you out!. Major depression is serious (but most of the depression cases are psyque not organic)!.!. I hope the link bellow help you out!.!.!. and might be helpfull
