Question: Been told after year that my son!?
has got to a have a full assesment as camhs are at a loss what does this entail as im told it may be as an inpatient on a mental health unit for kids,he has been seen at cahms every week since he tried to hang himself at the age of 8,he has all signs and symptoms of adhd but they say they are at a loss and higher up people have stepped inWww@Answer-Health@Com

His problems need more input from an outside agency !.
Camhs provide a therapeutic role !.!. coping mechanisms and so forth
My son has many problems and camhs are also struggling with him !.
If your boy is an in patient he will get 24 hour observations Rather than the weekly controlled obs

Your dear son will be seen and monitored, for any abnormal,or dangerous activities,through a number of meetings and discussions!.What-ever the outcome,I am sure that whatever is decided,will be best for your sons future!. IF it is any consolation to you,I have a son in mental health care!.HE is 26,@ was diagnosed with schizophrenia,2yrs ago!. What-ever else he is MY son @ NO-ONE will EVER take that away from me!.
