I believe you are talking about clonazepam, better known as klonopin!. Whether you will have a seizure or not really depends on your past medical history!. Have you had a seizure before!?!? 1 week is not long to be on an antianxiety drug, but where you on another before!? I ask this because 5mg is a high dose to start you on! If not, I would say your chances are low of having a seizure, but expect to have rebound anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to your doctor about how to get off the medication!. At this point you wouldn't *likely* have seizures if you stopped it now!. However, seeing as how clonazepine is a benzodiazapene (anti anxiety medication), they can be addictive and can have serious withdrawal effects, including seizures!. Talk to you doctor!.!.!.he or she can tell you the right way to do it!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you just started one week ago you have very little risk of seizures, I know this as a xanax "taker" for over 2 years!. Just be sure to check with your doctor, they may want to wean you off of it but personally, I'm almost positive you will be fine!. Call anyway, better safe than sorryWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't suggest stopping your medication on your own!. You are at increased risk for a seziure if you stop clonazepam suddenly!. Best to work with the doctor if you want to get off of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, it is best to ask your physician this question!. Without knowing your history and other interacting medications it is dangerous to make a diagnosis like this online!. Best to talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One week is not long enough to help you with anxiety!. Talk to your Dr!. if you don't want to take the medication, don't just stop!. Just stopping isn't good for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no just stay on it and don't be your own dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
