yes, this happened to me with the texas chainsaw massacre and its not a problem that is hard to fix, it will pass do not worry!. What you should do is either listen to relaxing music falling alseep, watch a nice and funny t!.v!. show before you go to bed, do not eat 30 mins before going to bed or just fight through it!. I hope this helps

the easiest way to stop thinking about scary movies is to keep your mind on something else!.
try listening to music if you wake up in the night!. the sound will help distract your mind from other things and eventually you will fall back asleep!.

if that doesn't work saying something over and over to yourself is also a good destraction!. think of a funny joke or something like that!.

if that still doesn't work, just step outside your room to prove to your mind that nothing is out there!. once you beleive nothing is watching you, you will find it easier to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry!.!.!. this will pass!. I remember when I was younger, and first moved out of my mom's house I watched "The Exorcist" by myself late one night!. I had SO much trouble sleeping (especially because it was based on a true story)!. Just remind yourself that it is just a movie, and NOT real!. Play some relaxing music before you fall asleep, or even play something funny (or a Disney movie) etc!. on your TV while you are falling asleep!. Try using a night light!. Maybe sleep with a pet (do you have a dog or cat!?) or your favorite stuffed animal!. Not to worry!.!.!. it will not be long before you are sleeping normally again!. Good luck! :0)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Believe me, it will pass!. I had the same problem with WHAT LIES BENEATH!. I couldn't look at a mirror for WEEKS! You will get back to a daily routine!. You will soon forget the trauma!. It takes time!.

I would also suggest not watching scary movies!. (Not goofy, over the top horror, like JASON IN NY--But, psycholgical, really mentally damaging movies like SAW!.) I have tried, and tried, and tried to just 'watch' psycholgical thrillers and it always becomes my undoing! Maybe you aren't a horror movie type!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is really hard as once something gets in your head its hard to get rid of it!!have you tried sleeping with someone in the same room as you!?!?or try sleeping on the sofa!i did this last time i had a problem and it worked for me as i sort of tricked my mind into thinking i wasnt going to bed,if you get me !.my partners a man of 40 and sometimes even he has times when something will upset him enough to stop him being able to sleep!!good luck and stop watching these films!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOU' RE sensitive soul aren't you!? i'm the same thats why i don't watch horror films!. , Try watching a comedy movie for a couple of days like say; There's something about mary
[v funny] or meet the parents something take your mind of your thoughts and to make you laugh and "Reset your mind"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I also get scared very easily, but I love scary movies!. When ever I watch a scary movie, I always watch Mr!. Deeds, with the lights on!. It always makes me less scared!. Then instead of thinking about the scary movie when I fall asleep I think about the sneaky butler, not very scary, just funny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Truthfully mate, fitness!. Go for a run 3-4 hours before you go to bed!. Whilst running go over what you've been thinking in bed!. Do you really really no that something is there, NO, there isn't!. Make sure you tire your self out big time!. You'll sleep like a baby(But don't wee and poo yourself like a baby)
10 points!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay!.!.!.
Start sleeping with your light on or a night light!. Every night turn it down every so slightly and keep doing it until you are comfortable with the light setting!.
I have just realised I'm sleeping in the dark because I had the same problem lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

perhaps try watching lots of other films just before you go to bed!. or maybe just have someone else there for the feeling of security, things feel so much better if you have someone to share with!. i hope that this helps you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
