Both drugs affect your brain's chemistry so part of it could be a withdrawal process of your brain missing the chemicals and having the levels of natural brain chemicals, like dopamine and anandamide, suppressed by the 3 years usage !.!.!.I guess the brain stops making it if you're supplying something similar
I think the marijuana covers your natural emotions!. If there's something you need to deal with, smoking pot will stop you feeling sad but won't solve the problem so when you stop, you're right back where you started!. It's like a pause button !.!.!.and the longer you smoke it, the more parts of your life will become hard to cope with!. Every little thing that causes a faint feeling of worry will make you think you should light up!.
Long term smoking might also have affected your ability to sleep which will make you tired and emotional!. It'll take a little while to recover your sleep patterns !.!.!.don't be tempted by sleeping tablets !.!.!.they make more of a mess
Keep hanging in there!.

Congratulations on gining up the pot!. Keep hanging in there!. Many people who are addicted to various substances are depressed - that's how thet cope - by numbing their feelings!. You need to go to a doctor and tell him what you are going through!. It sounds like you may need to be on medication to treat your depression!. Also a counsellor could be a lot of help to you to give you ways of coping with your problems!. Good luck and God bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
one day at a time - well done
the worst thing to get over will be the psychological addiction rather than the physical addiction - you could try your local NA (Narcotics Anonymous) group for support - they're free and the people there will understand as they will all have been through it!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
