Bad Experience?!
Question: Bad Experience!?
My dad had his birthday yesterday and he had a MAJoR seizure!. I was so scared that i was going to lose my dad and i was scared that i would be alone!. He was getting violent after a black out and started hitting me and my stepmom!. Once it was over he didnt know who we were or didnt know he even had a seizure!. I was worried because that was his second one in 2 years and the other was not like that!. I dont even know what my question is!.!.!.i guess im really thankful that he is okay now!. hey, your dads OK! i know first hand how hard this is on you, he probably just needs his meds increased, sounds positive that he has went so long without having one, which means his body reacts well with meds!. my mom was having them 4 or more times a day before they found the right dose!. im sorry you have to go through this especially when you got hit, even though you know it wasn't meant doesn't mean it don't hurt you deep down, my dad had cancer and at times didn't know me, he would look at me with such hate and i know he would never do that in his right mind but it still hurts so bad and he passed away 11 years ago, so stay strong and know deep in your heart he wouldn't do that to you on purpose!. lots of luck and hugs from me to youWww@Answer-Health@Com
Well thats what you should be thankful for because its a miracle that he IS alive!. there are alot of people who have suffored from seizers, and they dont make it!.!.but you dad did and you should be very happy, im happy that he is ok!. that was probably a very horrible experience for you!.!.but now its over!.!.and i feel for you that kind of thing happened to my grandpa!.!.so i hope your alright! ;)

That must of been a horrible experience for all of you!. Has he been to a doctor!? If not, then he should go!. They have anti-seizure medication that would help him!. Try and calm down!. He'll be fine, but I would try and talk him into going to a doctor so that all of you don't have to go through this again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your step-mom should take him to the Emergency Room!.
A Neurologist might be able to make a diagnosis after running some tests!. Medications can help seizures but it is very important for him to receive a diagnosis first!.

Sounds like Epilepsy!. Has he ever been checked for this!. There are meds to take for it!. You should suggest he sees a doc for this!. It could save his life one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
