What is aspergers?can someone elaborate on symptoms and behavior?!

Question: Aspergers is NOT a mild form of Autism however it is an autistic spectrum disorder

As someone who has AS I just wanted to clear that up as it is not only patronizing but also quite invalidating.

All autistic spectrum disorders are basically brain functioning disorders affecting the way everything is processed and understood.

People with Aspegers are likely to have difficulties picking up on and understanding the unwritten rules of society i.e Body language and eye contact

Most people on the spectrum also have sensory difficulties of some degree, a sensitivity to certain sounds, smells or textures which can cause distress and pain in some situations

Autistic spectrum disorders are very complicated and peoples symptoms and to the degree it affects them varies from person to person

Personally I have 'high functioning Asperers' . The symptoms are still there(particularly the sensory issues) I just hide it well.

On a good day I'm good, on a bad day you'd find it hard telling me out from someone with severe Autism

The autistic spectrum is generally a hidden disability, don't judge a book by it's cover
