Relocation and depression--opinions please?!
Question: Hi. I'm 32 and in decent health but in the last year have developed depression. I've had to relocate a handful of times because of my husband's job. Most recently I've moved to a competitive suburb of a large US city from a friendly town in Thailand, and just absolutely hate it here.
I'm asking people with experience with things like this if my depression is transient or will I always feel like crap?
My doctor feels it will pass, and I feel guilty for being so down :(
I currently do talk therapy and take Wellbutrin for daytime and Ambien for sleep.
Thanks for any insight!

Have also relocated but only the once from the UK to Dubai... absolutely hated it at the beginning but now love it (took a few months).. Moving around isn't easy, I have kids to settle too.. Just give it some time, even 1 friend will make a difference.. Dubai is a very transient place and the majority of people say they take time to adjust.. it's all normal. Don't beat yourself up I'm sure there are many happy times on the horizon.. focus and go get them!! X
