Answers: I never can fall asleep for some reason. Is something rong with me?

perhaps the soda you're having has caffeine in it and its keeping you up or you're subconsciously worried abt something.........try not having so much soda and drink something warm and go to bed early and just lay there dont get up and move around if you cant sleep just relax and see if that helps-

well thats not normal. are you sure there's nothing thats preventing you from going to sleep? your body should be getting at least 8 hours of rest.

Something on your mind that you are worrying about?

There may be too much on your mind or you may be insomnic.

Not drinking any sugar after 6:30 or eating after that time may help you sleep.

Try not going on the computer or tv before you go to bed, because that stimulates your brain.

If you still cant get to sleep, go to your doctors.

:)

Can be stress, can be that you have just finished working out and are too keyed up. Alcohol can do it too.

Might try taking 2 Tylenol PM tablets. While I can fall asleep, I don't stay asleep. the T-PM helps me get through the night.

Are you tired enough???
Try some exercise outdoors in the evening, like a nice walk enjoying the springtime sounds and scenery and fresh air.
Something causing tension (worry) in your life?? Job, family, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband??
Drinking too many or too much caffeinated beverages throughout the day??
Medications of any kind that can contribute to insomnia??
Hope this helps..!!

First of all get a check up with your doctor, to make sure you don't have any health problems that might be keeping you up.

Do you drink a lot of soda, coffee, or tea with caffeine? Are you doing some activity that keeps you too energized that you can't calm down to sleep?

Start getting into a routine. Try to go to bed at the same time everyday and get up at the same time too. Before going to bed don't watch too much t.v. Drink warm milk if you like that or drink some chamomile tea it's calming. Make sure your bedroom is dark so that light doesn't keep you up.
Keep your bed comfortable. Try not to look at your bills or things that may make you worry before going to bed.Write in a journal or listen to classical music to soothe you. You can take a warm bath/shower which does relax you before going to bed. If these things don't work (try it for about two weeks or so), then ask your doctor to send you for a sleep study. I hope that this helps you out some. Have a great day!
