first allow yourself to feel that way and just dont care, do something don't think u have to or your lazy. I'm the same way. Do something u really enjoy find a hobby, its hard but it's going to get easier. Good luck!

Please, don't get yourself any deeper in this hole. Start excerising, for example, running about 3 miles a day. Esspecially in the morning, when you are the most tired and probably feel the most depressed.
Also, don't do nothing. You have to do something.
Don't give up, you can do it!

Best wishes, god bless!
Missa

well, in this situation, the best thing you can do, is do the opposite of what you naturally want to do. you don't want to go out and meet new people, and find a new girlfriend . . . because those things ARE hard and stressful . . . and sometimes scary. but you will never feel better about yourself, and feel good about life until you bite the bullet and put yourself out there.

It sounds like you need a medication change to me. Obviously, the Xanax is not the right medication for your problem. This is for anxiety, you sound like you need an antidepressant to me. See a doctor, even your family doctor can prescribe an antidepressant.

In what period of time did you take the 14 SSRIs? Maybe you didn't take the medication for long enough or maybe you require a higher dosage.
I'm guessing that an antidepressant is what you need. And definitely some therapy to find out why you are so depressed.

I don't have an answer for you... I'm in the same boat though. I can't stand it. I've lost most of everything I ever cared about before. Now, I don't want to do anything, I don't want to date, I also have a good job and I work out.

Yes , try a differnt one, don't give up. Maybe a differnt one would mesh better with what you want to accomplish. Also see a regular doc, make sure nothing i physically wrong.
Do you have anything you enjoy doing or that you feel passionate about? Sounds like you need something to throw yourself into, I know it sounds simplistic, but sometimes the answers are right there, but they are just hard to see. Hang in there.

Yes. Try someone like a pain control specialist who can analyze what is sounding a lot like over-medication. Shrink from the shrink.

i understand you. I have GAD too. dont blame yourself, accept the circumstances. You are a good man.

Get your self to the Dr. nut, welcome to the wonderfull world of depression.Your Dr. has answers.Just tell him you are not getting better. Some of your drugs may be to blame.

As a lot of others have answered you probably need a antidepressant but a word to the wise a lot of the antidepressants can cause sexual difficulty. If you are prescribed them ask the questions. It is very difficult to deal with, my depression is better but the sexual side effects are terrible. I would recommend another psychiatrist. I myself am on number 3 and on my fourth therapist in 2 years.

What do you like to do? Do you want to play music? Do you want to go to a hockey game? I think that you need to find something to do to make yourself happy. If you are busy with something, you won't have the time or energy to think about being depressed. For the fatigue, you may have sleep apnea. Go to your Doc and tell him how you feel. Maybe you need to talk to a psychologist. Voice how you feel to them and they can give you tips on how to overcome this. I know, are you religious? With religion you can find meaning in life and you will be happy.
Good Luck mikey!!
