What is the mentality behind infant/child cruelty ?!
Question: i live in asia. and i am a girl and i am like a second class citizen in my family. when i was 6 months old, my mother gave me away to a nanny to take care of me 24/7. and this nanny is living right next to my grandmather! my grandmother did not want to take care of me so she referred her neighbor to do the job for my mother. it turned out that i was raped in that family. ( discover it when i grew up) and my father never calls me by my name. he refered to me as "that one" even in front of me. my father/mother does not have friends and we don't interact with relatives. so i stayed at home all the time. i am afraid to intimate friendship. adults/teachers here are very harsh people. i saw a lot of violence teachers do to kids. i am very confused.

Wow.. this is horrible!... all i can say is its will someday be ok... i have no idea why they are acting like this... i can't even imagine what you are going through... be strong.. dont be afraid to talk about your problems and dont follow in their foot steps!

You sound smart and strong. Don't let the blindness of the patriarchy get you down. It's the mentality that children are considered property rather than individuals is what does this.
so since six months old you remember things? or you are up to a fiction?Accepting all this vision at later age-this is human ;the mentality is rooted at ancestral-if you want to do anything for a redress(takes time) go back to YA Q&A-there is adequate material to choose and think upon by help.
Leave the country. Find people who care about you; you deserve that. You deserve to be able to trust the people you're around, not hide from them.
if you were in the united states i would send you to talk to a school counciler but everyone needs friends kids there own age dealing with the same things .i think that would be where i would start making friends getting out more
