Help me dianose a friend?!?!

Question: What is the name of the disorder for always thinking that you are sick and constantly diagnosing yourself? What disorder sums up all of these symptoms: anxiety (panic disorder mostly), fear large crowd, lack of sleep, depressed, moody, lack of energy and always thinking you have a mental disorder? Is there such a disorder or are these a bunch of mental problems?

hi. this sounds to me like a group of problems-some caused by others-hypochondria-is always thinking sick and self diagnosing-but i do that too...lol. but hypochondria may also be an underlying symptom of some psychological conditions. psychological/personality disorders tend to run in packs so to speak. that is common. your friend should see a psychiatrist is my thought.

Bipolar disorder also known as manic depression. A lot of selfish americans have it.

Hypochondria is the disorder.

yes obbsesive compulsive disorder!nasty little thing and anxitey i had it and my physcoligist told me just go out in big crowds and it went!

hypochondria... sucks if you have it ...lol working in an ER you start wonder if you are one...lol

Well, I think that this person is probably sick. If this person is thinking that they have a mental problem and exhibits all of those symptoms, it is probably true. I would suggest that you have your friend act on their beliefs. Have your friend see a mental health therapist to help him sort out his feelings of mental sickness. Perhaps it will be as easy as talk therapy and some meds to get your friend on the right track.

Hypochondria. My father can be like that at times. He ALWAYS believes something is wrong. I knot on hi sleg is probally cancer according to him.

is this friend of yours on hard drugs?

bipolar & hypercondrate or munchhoiser biproxy, she needs to see a neurologist & shrink

your friend needs to see a doctor, there are alot of disorders relateing to these symptoms she needs aproper diagnosis.
