Stress issues.?!

Question: Lately, i cant seem to unwind, i know im stressed, and so does everyone around me. im currently getting ready for my GCSE's, which means tons of homework, coursework, revision and exams, and i know that this is contributing to my ever growing stress level.

I know that high school isnt susposed to be a breeze, but i cant seem to understand why im working constantly, overworking in fact, and getting no free time to relax, whereas everyone else is.

But its not just school. theres been many family issues going on recently, also friendship and i feel that slowly its eating away at me. Im constantly seeing life from a pessimistic view, im lacking sleep, im becoming unhappy with my appearence, im having crazy moodswings, on a near enough daily basis i feel unwell and im even experincing panic attacks.

whats wrong with me!?

Try to keep distance to energy thieves! Stay away from people who's eating you away. Tell them you have to be alone for a while and that you keep in touch.
If you have lot of studies you still have to take a break once in a while and do something else. Exercise but not too hard, long walks are perfect for the brain and clear your mind up! Lay down and listen to some relaxing music - I just listened to the famous Irish band The Clannad. Their music is very calming and relaxing, help you to float away for a while.
The most important is that you have to find a slower speed in your daily life and you'll see that you can work better. The more tensed you are, the less can the energy flow in you.

Everyone experiences some sort of stress. Do something you enjoy just for you, that makes you really happy. Such as taking time to listen to your favorite music, or reading a book from your favorite author. Also exercise is a great stress reliever.

sounds like you definitley have a bit of anxiety you need to get treated. that and maybe therapy would help you just to be able to vent all this out to a third party who has no bias and someone who could also help by offerring contstuctive ways to cope when your feeling over-stressed. But yeah, panic attacks, are definitley a symptom of an anxiety disorder. Is there anxiety or depression in your family history? the lacking sleep and crazy moodswings could be symptoms of a different mood disorder altogether, that of bipolar. Id see a psychiatrist and get a medical evaluation if what your describing is accurate.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with you other than your plate is alittle more full than you are used to. Try to prioritize the things that you must get done from the things that can be done tomorrow. Put all of your workload into prospective and hopefully this will make you feel alittle less edgy. If you still can't focus you want to speak to your guidance counselor about things that you can do to make your class work not stress you so much. As far as your friends go are they interested in getting anywhere in life. Are their grades good or failing. You can't compare your educational needs with theirs, because sometimes others don't know where they plan to go in life and don't care at that age.
