Question: myself up. im very sad right now cause in 30 minutes its going to be 12 midnight and 1 year ago tomorrow (midnight) my nana died. =[ im 12 and depressed right now.

I'm very sorry about your nana. It will get easier as time to passes. But you could try calling a friend or something? Or maybe talking to someone who also knew her and misses her?
Also, try not to think of it as an anniversary of her death. Try and use the day to remember her and what a great person she was and how special she was to you.
Be thankful that you had her in your life for as long as you did. :))

You do survive and the pain becomes bearable it just takes time to get used to not having the person with you. Remember the good times and also remember that she would not want you to be sad so cheer up and do her proud.
Hon, I am sorry your Nana died. Death is a very devastating fact of life for anyone no matter what your age is.
It is perfectally normal for you to be sadder on the anniversary of her death, as you are in the grieving process of loosing her. Crying really does help, as it releases a chemical in our brain that allows us to feel better later. God gave us the ability to cry for a reason, and that is the reason; we need a outlet when we are facing difficult situations.
Talk to a good counselor; whether a school one or through mental health. But talk with an adult that understands the grieving process, so you can grieve for her loss, without being made to feel like a "baby" or guilty because you are crying.
The Bible gives a hope of being able to see our loved ones some day right here on earth again. King David talked about this hope in Psalms, "the righteous wil inhereit the earth:" those seeking knowledge, will gain everlasting life.'' Also Jesus said the "meek will inhereit the earth," as there will be a resurrection of the "righteous and unrighteous" and this will be here on earth.
