i have it also really bad. I really haven't found anything to help it

yes you can control your ocd. i have it and i have learned to get a grip on it big time. i am massively educated on ocd and addictions. if you will send me an email detailing your symptoms i know i can give you a ton of insight. my ocd caused me to be hospitalized at age 11 for malnutrition triggered by my ocd. i was anorexic because of my fussing with not eating food. my ocd was triggered when i was 7 years old. i have obsessions and compulsions, i now have 90% control over my accompanying tourettes syndrome. tourettes and ocd are co-related. when i took luvox, an ssri drug, that alone rid me of 70% of my ocd symptoms. when i first developed ocd my brother was making fun of me cause we were kids and my repetitive behavoir of touching things seemed funny to him. i learned to hide my symptoms and control them very well. i am telling you about my symptoms to give you an example to let you know that you can get better without a doubt. I HAVE A BOOK I AM WRITTING ON OCD COMING OUT THIS YEAR. if you need to email me and learn a lot more about helping yourself, feel free to. when you begin to ignor your symptoms they will greatly go away. it takes work. but u will get better. ..john

If it takes up more than an hour, daily, gets worse, or interferes with your life to any great degree, seek therapy, because it can quickly take over a person's life. See section 7, on OCD, at ezy build, below and also view section 6, since some consider to be an anxiety related disorder. Practice one of the relaxation methods on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i, daily, and when needed. Also, give the EFT a good tryout, to see if it helps you. There is also a version for use in public places, (if you like, you can claim to have a headache, as you massage/lightly tap your temples). "Even though I suffer from OCD, I deeply and completely accept myself." Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris also refer.
