Dealing With Anger at "little things"?!


Question: It seems like my anger/frustration doesn't know when to show itself or when to lay low. Little things like people driving too slow and not letting me pass will REALLY get me very uncomfortably angry and upset, and then even smaller things like accidentally knocking my head or not being able to reach something will really tick me off to the point where if someone interrupts me, they will get yelled at needlessly!

I am physically uncomfortable and worred that someday this anger will be detrimental to my health. I got angry once waiting for a doctor's appointment (an annual checkup) to begin, and when they took my blood pressure it was sky high. (I didn't tell them I was angry, as it was unreasonable...I was ticked for having to wait so darn long.)

A few times when my boyfriend and I were fighting, he said he thought I had an anger problem and "needed help". I cannot seem to "calm down" and "take it easy" with the little annoyances in life! Any thoughts or tips?

you may have to flush your residual lactic acid in your body by doing some physical excersice... lactic acid and serotonin secretion do influence your mood and behaviour... drink alot of plain water.. not exceeding 8 litres perday... organize your place and and add natural decorations thats smells good and coloured light green.. take an evening walk and appreciate the breeze air to your skin.. psychologucal needs? learn to forgive and smile.. no matter how angry you are.. but do angry appropriately so that it will not become your burden... there are ways to channel your anger... scold wisely and accordingly.. and live a calm and tranquil life... (yes anger is the balance of peace) if you are at balance you are at tendency of a state peace mind thus i would say you can be mad.. we are all humans.. and we are not perfect... so the way we channel anger is according to how wise we control ourselves

I think you need to stop Self-Loathing, and take some Anger Management Classes or do something Stupid and the Judge will force into Anger Management Classes you blow it you go to Jail/Prison same thing.

recognizing that you have an anger problem is the 1st step ...threes lots of support groups just look in your local phone book or search the web......and don't be late for a meeting they get really mad

I HAVE FELT LIKE THIS AND THE FIRST ANSWER IS TO PRAY FOR PATIENCE AND STRENGTH.YOU MAY WANT TO ASK FOR SOME TIME OFF TO RELAX AND THINK THINGS OVER MAYBE GO TO THE PARK OR TAKE A WALK YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND OR SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST TALKING TO AND TALK THINGS OVER .IF YOUR'E GOING THROUGH SOMETHING EVERYTHING CAN SEEM A BIT AGGRAVATING AND STRESSFUL,JUST TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME.BUT MAKE SURE YOU TAKE OUT SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF SO YOU CAN ENJOY WHAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER YOU.NO NEED STRESS YOURSELF OR BE ANGRY AT SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE IT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING THAT'S HAPPENING AROUND YOU.SO CALM DOWN AND RELAX.
