How do i get tall? Any suggestion? If not i am going to kill myself!?!
Question: I hate my school, I hate when people make fun of me. I am in 8th grade and I am only 4'9 or 5'00 .I want to get tall. In lunch everyone my friends makes fun of me. It makes me wanna kill them. I hate my life! Is there anyway i can get tall? I pray everyday Oh my gosh!!! Even my teacher. Any suggestion? If not i am going to die! Im serious. Dead serious

First, if you kill yourself you will never grow taller! Second, my own son was short during this age, and also suffered from being picked on. However, when he was in 10th grade he began growing and now, at 22, he is 6' tall.
Honey, we ALL go through this crap! The good thing is that eventually you grow up and live in a world full of different size, color and shape people. That's not to say there aren't any people being prejudice against others who are different. But, thankfully most of us understand that different is a fact of life and accept it!
There is no good reason to end your life. NONE. And, let me tell you, if there were any good reasons, this would not be on the list! I would venture to say you will grow taller in time. And, let's face it, even if you don't grow to the height you want to be, that does not make you less of a person. Think of all the famous and successful short people! They did NOT let their physical stature stand in their way of what they wanted to do.

Hey sweetie take it easy on yourself you are only in 8th grade!You are still growing!!! Think about all of the famous and well loved actors that are short,Robin Williams,Danny Davito,and see how they have such a great life!Just focus on building your life,and do the best you can in school! If they make fun of you remember that height doesnt equal success!

there is no way u can get taller its in ur guens unless u r having a late growth spurt. i am sure u will grow in time its nothing worth wanting 2 kill urself over trust me.

Also, shoot your friends in the kneecaps so that they can never walk again and have to be in a wheelchair. That way you can make fun of them by saying, "I may be short but at least I can walk arround b!tch!!!"

I was around 5 feet when I graduated 8th grade...when i graduated high school I was almost 6'3

Men usually have growth spurts between 14-22 years old. Your height might seem like the most important thing in your life right now, but believe me it is not. Be patient, i know alot of guys that didnt start growing till they were 17 or 18 years old. If it will make you feel better the next time someone gives you a low blow about not being tall just give it to them right back...say, something like, "so what i'm not tall, you dont hear me talking about your big nose or greasy hair or crooked teeth...something like that. Its not the right thing to do, but it might make them think twice before teasing you again.
God made us all in different sizes, shapes, and colors. I spent my whole life wanting to look a certain way, but sometimes, as hard as we may work, we may never look or be a certain way. I will never be a model, or a rockstar on stage in front of millions. Unfortunately, some people seem to go through life so smoothly, while the rest of us suffer. You will hit your stride, you just have to be patient. Take this time to find your talents, God gave them to us all. I was a late bloomer and did not get get in shape and be handsome until the end of high school. Take this time to find out who your real friends are and what a real friend is. You have many great things about you to share with others, and there are people out there who want to know you. The most popular kids have a ton to deal with just trying to maintain an image that's not real. I know you may be tired of hearing this, but be yourself, and don't compare yourself to others. The guy that is funny and sweet gets just as many girls as the handsome jerk in the long run. Good luck to you and I hope everything turns out great for you. Run your OWN race.
try eating healthier.. and really,, that wont help much with the process either.. please dont kill yourself. Is that reallly better than going through everyday being teased? Once you die there is nothing after it.

And you really need to start thinking more positive, You know how common it is to be short these days??? my big sis is a little shorter than she should be thanks to skolliosis (< sorry if i mispelled) and my other sis is almost qualified to be a dwarf.<pretty much right on the 4 foot mark. And every year it seems people are actually getting shorter. Its just the world evolving.
And, i bet there are other features on you that woman people could appreciate. Usually people only tease because there is somnething about themselves that they are self concious about. And, if you are a bit less attractive than other guys then you should be pretty happy about that because then you will be less likely to end up with a girl that only likes you for your looks. (and if you dont get a girlfriend any time soon, dont worry, the best of people are usually not talked to much because others are to nervous to talk to you.) Im actually in 9th grade and still am not the best looking, nor have i ever been in a relationship. (what are the chances they would even last in highschool or junior high??)
dont worry the time will come when people will be looking up to you (not meaning the tall factor--this is unpredictable. and since you are still that young.. there is still a large chance that you can have a growth spert and catch up with the other guys- maybe even pass their heights.
Sorry about writing to much.. I dont like hearing about people wanting to kill themselves because the are not 'perfect'.<actually no one is.
