English people:What kind of th!
Question: personally
I prefer some of the aromatics, with no milk, no sugar, just sufficent time for the tea to brew in a teapot or jug......
aromatics such as....
Earl Grey, which is freely available from many manufacturers,
or the recently developed Twining tea Lady Grey which is a slightly more delicate flavour then Earl Grey
Of an evening I quite like Lapsang Souchong, but it can be an accquired taste (it can be too strong for most people).
but if you want an ordinary quality tea then the best standard teas were always supposed top be the Co-Op (Co-Operative Society), Yorkshire Tea which alters its blend regionally for the prevailing water type. Often such robust teas benefit form milk and if you like sugar as well.
Chinese people generally prefer Green teas, and seeing as they invented the brew they may have a point. Generally the Chinese teas should be enjoyed without milk
Occasionally I put lemon, orange or other citrus fruit slices into tea, heck I even put finely sliced fresh ginger into tea. but if you are going to do that it does need to be a delicate blend of tea.. not a robust tea such as a 'breakfast' tea.
but the best tea of all is the one right here right now.... cheers
