I believe a lot of people think about it daily--especially those who have suffered great loss. Even if you haven't, it's good to realize life should never be taken for granted. As long as you aren't dwelling on it. If it's bothering you, I would suggest talking with someone.

I thought about death a lot when I was off my meds, but now that I am back on my meds and possibly in a hypomanic state.... I don't think about death anymore. Might want to talk to a therapist or counselor or something....

i think about it all the time

I think about it on a daily basis also. I am the type of person that worries all the time. That could be a reason why you think about it often.

Well, I think of death a lot sometimes. This is considered a sign of depression. Of course, it depends on the circumstances. It seems to me not prudent to ignore death, which is part of life after all.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with depression, and the "thoughts of death" were part of the diagnosis. I wasn't thinking of suicide, I just thought I wouldn't live long. I didn't even feel sad about it. Later the "thoughts of death" took the form of obsessing over the hanging of Saddam Hussein, definitely not an event that saddened me!

No, I think about it quite often. I'm actually considering talking to a therapist.. =/

I think a lot more people think about it that would admit. I think about it a great deal sometimes. But not in a negative way. There are so many mysteries about the process of dying. Blessings

it's normal until it interferes with your daily activites and desire to do other activities.....

A lot of people think about it every day. I do.

NO,NO,and NO.There are lots of people like that, but most of them seek help.Think about life and how short it is,love is forever, just live for those who love you. When you're dead you're gone.If you ever get the chance, visit a mental health center and take a tour.

When I was growing up I use to think about dying all the time. Not in the way of "I hate life I wish I was dead" type of thing but as a place I could visit and find out all those unanswered questions that people have.

As I got older life took a more of a president in my thoughts of what my future will be and things like that.

Now I am in my 30's and yes I do think about the after life and all that it holds. I also look to my future in my life as well as looking at my children's future in life.

But the wonder of death and what is next after this life is a constant thought for me.

I don't think you are the only one who thinks about it. However you are a part of the few to voice it =)

Keep on thinking it might figure it out =)

Hope this helps some

i think about it day in and out..dr put me on zoloft..well that made it worse..put me on someother thing..which made me sleep..well neither worked out and im back to square one... i dont have the money to spend on dr visits and expensive meds..ive had alot of things happen to me while growing up and it all hit me after having a child...sometimes i daze out and plan my funeral not realizing how i made it to work... im just dealing with it..some days are goos some are bad. i was diagnosed with OCD because of my obsessiveness over it.

Gentle soul,

Sounds like depression. Depression can take on many forms and symptoms. It can be different for different people. Common depressive ideation is thoughts of death in general (not just suicide), dying, loss, grief, what the world would be like without you or others. Talk to a professional.
