Question:
Where could I find diagrams of "chinese exersise balls" internal structure or manufacture?
The balls I'm referring to can be seen here: http://www.natashascafe.com/html/balls.h... They are reputed to have health benefits by massaging key points in the fingers and hand as you roll them around.
They have a smaller ball inside and it rolls back and forth in a track or cage, hitting a sounding gong at the end. I have a couple of sets of these. I'd love to find a website that has pictures of one of these cut open, showing the internals of the ball and making it clear what they look like inside. Bonus points for finding a website with pictures showing them being made.

I did quite a bit of research, but couldn't find what you were requesting.. I did learn a lot about them though. They go under different names like chinese health balls, iron balls, or baoding balls. I couldn't find a cross section, but a lot of sites I came across described the inside as hollow with "chiming plates".
