Marijuana's Effects: Increased Heart Rate?

I've pondering the following question: Is the increased heart rate induced by marijuana beneficial or detrimental to one's health, all other effects set aside? Since the purpose of an aerobic exercise is to increase one's heart rate in order to strengthen the heart, among other things, it may be beneficial.

I'm not advocating marijuana usage; I'm asking about a particular aspect of its effects.
