Anyone ever tried using colloidal silver? if so for what and did it work?

Silver is not toxic. No-one has EVER died from silver poisoning. The only problem is argyria (grey skin) caused by excessive consumption over a long period of bad quality CS made with tap water instead of distilled water. Argyria is easily avoided. The fact that silver kills germs in lab tests has been proven beyond a shadow of doubt. So why wouldn't it work in the human body?
