Is anybody taking Paxil medication? Does it work, and for how long.?

I took it for severe PMS and it worked for me, but I didn't care for some of the side effects, so I switched to Prozac....which stopped working after 3 years, so now I'm on a different medication (that leaves me hazy).
You should sit down with your doctor and go over the pro and con of each medication that could be suitable for whatever you need it for, then try some of them out. It may take a while, but it's better to find out first hand, then ask how other people did on a medication...it works differently for everyone. Good luck.
