At how many degrees celsius does a joint burn?!
Question:
At how many degrees celsius does a joint burn?
More specifically a joint rolled with a transparent "cellulose" skin (brands such as 1Back and Aleda). Although the manufacturers sometimes claim 100% cellulose content, they apparently also contain glycerol (or perhaps glycerine), which at 280 degrees Celsius can decompose into acrolein.
Acrolein = poison. I like to smoke my herb safely. (No boring anti-drug lectures please).
Answers:
280 degrees celsius would be approximately 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Paper burns at 451 Fahrenheit. IF the leaf requires a higher temperature to burn, I'd change to a pipe to be safe.
