Should I stop taking this..?!
Question: Should I stop taking this..?
Each dose (1 inhalation) contains 160 micrograms of budesonide, 4.5 micrograms of formoterol fumarate dihydrate and approximaely 730 micrograms of lactose monohydrate.
What are the side effects possible right now to me after inhaling it daily for more than a year? Is it dangerous to be taking this for so long? Should I stop taking it?

There are these people who study a very long time to specifically know the answer to this - Medical Doctors. Now, should you not insurance there are still other doctors you could consult - doctors of medications, which you probably know as pharmacists. Ask one of them before you risk the crock-of-crap advice you might get from the likes of the crazy cat lady. Alright?

This is probably the least dangerous steroid inhaler available. The only recalls on record are due to insufficient dosaging rather than toxic ingredients or overdose.
Side effects of stopping could be dramatic- you may end up with a severe asthma attack. No drug is great to take every day forever, but you would need to discuss with a medical doctor the risks involved in taking and not-taking it. Do not consult an herbalist or homeopath about it. They can offer help on lifestyle changes and supplements that may reduce the frequency you need the inhaler, but they cannot speak for the medication itself.
There are Homeopathic medicines that can seriously diminish and even cure asthma depending on the patient.
No long term studies are done on conventional drugs. You take them at your own risk.
It makes more sense to use a treatment that has no side effects over one that does. Homeopathy is noted for having no toxic effects.
