if done right, meditation is meditation. The ability to observe everything around you and let go of the sensations of your own body. Detachment. Takes years to truly master it. Start by just "sitting" and concentrating on your breaths. Sounds easy but it is not. Your mind will start to wonder and that is the no no... no thinking, no daydreaming, no sleeping. Extremely difficult to keep your mind "still".



With meditation, your perception of things will change.
Pain is a perception.
