Are there 'certified' homeopaths?!

Question: Are there 'certified' homeopaths?
an internet friend of mine who is an Irish podcaster doesn't seem to be finding any willing to be interviewed maybe because he is very much a skeptic

All graduates of registered, recognized Homoepathy schools are considered to be certified professional Homeopaths.
Homeopaths are "on to" pseudoskeptics and their disinformation tactics and consider it a waste of their time to engage in debates about homeopathy with armchair critics.
Witness the immature cracks around here and you can understand why no one could be bothered. Your friend can look forward to a future where pseudoskeptics aren't taken seriously by anyone but their own little clique.
For the straight goods on Homeopathy your friend can research

All homeopaths are "certifiable" if you get my drift.

I understand that there is no formal certification of homeopaths in the UK, self regulation seems to be the thing. Here is a link to the "Alliance of Registered Homeopaths" website: http://www.a-r-h.org/index.htm

Regulation of homeopathic products is another issue: http://www.senseaboutscience.org.uk/inde…

Good luck with it - its hard to pin down homeopaths to do a skeptical podcast!

It's strange, everyone insists that these people exist but when asked where they are, there's deafening silence.

Recently a company was asked to defend its claims about homeopathy and tried to wheel out an 'expert' who was dismissed as being clueless.

I've asked this question here: but the alties are running scared from it.

I think they're a bit worried that their tissue-thin cover of nonsense might be blown forever!

Sure, there are "certified" homeopaths; but it's all nonsense, isn't it?

Yes, there are homeopathic schools and degrees in same. There are also HHPs, holistic health practitioner programs.

Your friend needs to do his homework.

Well, if he's badgering them he may just be scaring them off. Who wants to be verbally attacked? Tell your friend he'll get more bees with honey.

Sure there are.
Some of them are cats, though. Seriously.
