Big Pharma does not do very good clinical trials!. The decide which people can be in a trial!. Which means they screen them first to rule out those that might not do well with a drug!.
No one ever had a deficiency of a drug, but a deficiency of a nutrient can cause the symptoms that a person might be put on a drug!.
Depends on your definition of evil!. Of course, creating diseases so that a person can be given a drug might be sconsidered evil!. I've heard that happen!.
Yes, there are a lot of "vitamin" companies that sell vitamins that are made in a lab - they aren't good either, but they also aren't as toxic as the drugs!.
The isolated vitamins that you can buy such as 100 B vitamins - no where in nature is there any plant that has 100 mg of all the Bs without any cofactors necessary for the body to use it!.
However, this creating isolated vitamins started in the 30s!. It was done to see if the isolated vitamins can be used as a drug!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

That would depend on your definition of evil!. But the short answer is no, of course not!. Yes they are big business, but they are no worse than big vitamin companies trying to sell you useless vitamins and supplements!. At least pharma products are required to go through the rigour of clinical trials!. And their products have saved many many lives and improved the lives of many many more!.
