Question: Are Percocet and Oxycodone the same thing!?
I had been taking Oxycodone 5 mgs ( which, my DR said was just Percocet with out Tylenol but, I was told by someone else that it was Oxycontin!?) He has switched my to Percocet 5mg/325 ( it says Oxycodone/Tylenol ) I'm confused!.!.!.!.Do DR's and Pharmacist consider them the same thing!? Are they two different medications!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Percocet comes in 5 and 10 mg tablets, whereas oxycontin has 20,40,or 80mg of oxycontin which is ment to be slow released, but people crush the pill to get all of the oxycodone at once
