Question: Whats a good way to quit smoking!?
Ive been smoking since i was a freshman in high school!. I am now 23 i dont want to smoke no more but i find it so hard to quit!. my boyfriend smokes and im always with him!. the people i hang out with @ work smoke!? its like everywhere i go and ugh i always find myself buying ciggerrettes!. ~ mature answers only!. no rudeness please=] Thank yu Www@Answer-Health@Com

The toughest thing about quitting for me was hanging around other smokers!. One suggestion is to lay low for a few weeks until your cravings die down a bit!. It would be very hard for you though because you can't avoid your boyfriend or co-workers!.
Smoking is more of a psychological addiction than a physical one!. If you really want to quit you must discover the reasons why you smoke and then eliminate or change these thought processes!. As soon as I dealt with my psychological reasons for smoking I quit, first time and more importantly for good!.
Once you deal with the psychological side of smoking it makes the quitting process easy!. You are then able to hang around people who smoke and still be strong!. In fact for me it became a game!. I would encourage myself to beat that inner voice that tells me to smoke!. Whenever I won it was the greatest feeling because I knew I was strong and gave me confidence to keep going!.
The longer you stay quit the easier it becomes!. Don't buy ciggies anymore, you give yourself no option but to smoke when you do that!. All you require is a bit of motivation, self belief and determination!. You can do it, believe in yourself and your abilities!.

Twenty two years or so ago, I had the soon to be extreme pleasure of meeting a man called "Static"!. He was a retired city employee and stayed focused as a commissioner as to stay in contact with the general operation of the city!.
That didn't matter to this question at the moment!. Why I mentioned him is because when I became acquainted with him, he was a non-filter Camel chain smoker!. It wasn't uncommon for him to smoke maybe three cigarettes in ten minutes or so!.
In the late 1980's there was some type of new tax that was aimed towards cigarettes!. That made him feel almost persecuted!. I kid you not, but he pretty much finished the pack he was in and said, "I quit, these darn things are too expensive!."
Ever since that move, I held a great deal of respect for the man!. If someone can just quit smoking by choice, why can't we do anything !? The worst part of my tale is that I attended his funeral a couple of weeks ago!. Maybe his choice could help others!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will be hard if you BF smokes too!. Could you get him to quit with you!.

Try hypnotherapy, biofeedback!.!.!.!.try anything but make sure you quit!! Try chewing gum!. Do some research on the net for natural way to quit!.

It's the hardest thing to do!. I was a pric*k for days!. People wanted to slay me!. You have to want to quit, sounds like crap, but it's true!. People who smoke annoy the sh*it out of me now, because I feel that if I can, anybody can!. Stick with it!. Don't quit quitting!. Make it a game!. Do whatever it takes!. i smoked for 13 years bro, you should stop way before that, i use smoke deter, it stops the witdrawal symptoms i was getting, i havent had a cigarette in 4 months after using it, you can learn more at this link
