It is NOT "useful" for anything. It is a hoax.
It is called Iridology. Iridology should never be used alone in the diagnose of an illness, but as a one of the supporting evidences of a diagnose.
A good iridologist is one that has been practicing alternative medicine for many years, and has used eye exam as one of his many diagnostic methods.
