What is making my skin so soft?!

Question: For the past couple of months I have been drinking a small class of diluted unsweetened cranberry juice with a teaspoon of psyllium husk powder...My skin began to feel really soft and healthy immediately..is it the cranberry juice or the psyllium? And what is this doing internally to cause such a great benefit?

Caveat: the following is pure speculation.

It is possible that both have contributed to your improved skin. Cranberry juice is rich in antioxidants, which help inhibit aging, which could improve your skin. Additionally, Vitamin C (also in Cranberry juice) in essential for collagen formation, and collagen is a key ingredient in the skin. If you weren't getting quite enough before, that could also contribute.

As for psyllium: assuming your bowels were not moving quite as efficiently as they should before you started, you could have been accumulating toxins in your colon, which in turn could have been leading to a build-up in your body, which in turn could have been oxidizing your skin at a higher-than-ideal rate (see above). Adding psyllium might have counteracted this by allowing proper and regular BM.

Of course, it may be something else entirely, and we must not overlook the post hoc fallacy.

it doesnt matter you should be glad about your soft skin like me!

Why do you need to know? Soft skin is a positive thing, so stop questioning it and enjoy it!

It could be the antioxidants in the cranberry juice. Appreciate it! It's lovely.

it's a combination of the two

i dunno, but maybe i'll try it! lol :)

o0o0o0o0o, you got all these vitmin builded up in your body! thx for sharing, maybe ill try it to. i have rough dry skin... not as rough but real dead dry.

psyllium

it is a combo of both, but the main contributor is the cranberry juice...

the fact that spring is approaching and the dry cracking skin of winter is fading may has some factor in this as well.....

Maybe you haven't pooped well? I've done some research to help you, and it says that there are natural laxatives that cleanse your body well. So possibly that it's cleansed out all the unwanted toxins and such?

It's just the vitamins in what you eat :]
And the moisturizer you use haha
Like fruits and water
