NO!! It's a hoax. The "stuff" in the candle is NOT earwax, it's just wax from the candle itself.

Yah, I did it once and you sit there with it. Then, when you are done, you can open it and see all of the ear wax. My ears felt a lot better, but the candle thing kind of smelled bad.

Yes, it absolutely works. It not only helps relieve the pressure in your ears, but will help your sinuses, too. The dark wax is the stuff clogging your ear, and the powdery stuff is the residue from the candle. Also, use Wally's ear oil after.
