Do you believe in Chiropractic healing?!

Question: I have been going to the Chiropractor since November, 3 times a week for pain in my fingers. Seems to be working. I don't really like to hear my bones crack. Especially, my neck. Sometimes when I come out of the Chiropractor I hurt worse than when I went in. Ever have this?

I do believe in it! I can go in with a stuffy nose, and come out with a clear one!! Also, helps with migraines. I like the cracks! It's not your bones, though, it's air that makes that noise. I've never left feeling worse. Does he use the little gun thing or his hands? I prefer hands; and 1 chiro said he can feel where he is better with his hands.

Chiropractors can be very helpful for spinal problems. Occasionally I hurt a bit more; but mostly I feel a whole lot better. I have a great Chiropractor!

chiropracty is a placebo last time i checked.

A sign of a good chiropractor is one that you leave feeling better and not worse.

I had one good chiro that I went to that I actually had improvements and I had one horrible one that actually popped something out of place and i thought I was gonna die of the pain. He finally got it to pop back in, but I was sore for almost two weeks. I haven't been back to one since because I am scared. You make sure you go to one that is well known. Don't let anyone be cracking around on your neck unless they do know what they are doing because you can become paralyzed for life if they did it just the wrong direction.

I work at a Chiropractor doing massage.

A sign of a good one is not if you leave feeling great everytime. Your body will ache a little bit sometimes after an adjustment. It doesn't mean they did something wrong.

I'm a firm believer in using massage and chriopractic work together.

Talk to your DR. about when you hurt. you may need to be icing or warming. Does your Dr. office have a PT section? Where they administer ultra sound or light therapy or electical stem? These are all great tools in the body's healing process!

Chiropractic healing works to replace disjointed bones, and perhaps to help with slipped disk, etc. Everything else is simply placebo. You hear cracking and assume that you've been healed.

yes, i do. talk to the doctor and ask him what exactly is meant to d=be different about you when he is done. you may just not understand what kind of healing you are recieving. i would also try something less traditional.... from accupuncture to reiki.
