Are "Chitosan After Diet" pills safe?!
Question: If you have any sensitivity or allergic reaction to shellfish then they are not safe at all since they contain the same substance. If not, the biggest risk is losing your money on a product that doesn't work, see the links below. Weight loss isn't so hard you need to rely on something that magically binds to fat to keep it from being absorbed. You could always try Alli which has been proven to work but has the side effects you'd expect for something that interferes with fat absorption, namely diarrhea.

I can't say I'm a big fan of this type of treatment - it's just too American (insert smiley here!.
I think it's better to just eat a good diet.
You don't say why you are taking/want to take Chitosan - e.g. hyperlipodemia or hypercholesterolemia, etc, but there are better ways of dealing with these problems.
If it is just to try and lose weight I would only try them as a last resort. I don't like the fact they allow too much fat to remain undigested and pass to the colon where it shouldn't be. For that reason, I think they should only be used short term
