Kombucha, give me the scoop on it, please. =)?!
Question: I've heard of people making their own tea, with the cultures, because the ones at Whole Foods, for instance are expensive. Also I am a believer in eating and drinking things as fresh as possible. So I am skeptical about paying for something bottled, as I don't know if it achieves optimal results.

Well, what I can tell you is I tired it by mistake, I thought it was some sort of green tea but It was green Kombucha. It tasted disgusting......lol But I drank the rest of it because I paid like 5 dollars for it, then I noticed I felt kinda buzzed from it and I felt high. I did some Internet research on it to see what was up..It does have a trace amount of alcohol in it from the fermentation, but nothing to get you buzzed. I heard from a couple of other people who felt this way when they drink it especially if it's been awhile since they last had it. I've acquired a taste for it now I drink it once in a while since it's so expensive.
