Ideas for a male massage therapist to find a job or get working independently? H!

Question: My husband graduated college a couple of weeks ago (perfect timing with the holidays, I know!) and he is beginning to look for work. We knew this could be difficult for him, but it was something he loves doing and is really good at.

We aren't sure what to do next now. His school is accredited and they are looking for a job for him as well, and he is applying for jobs (mostly found on craigslist.com). However on a couple of interviews he has basically been told... you do a good job, but we really prefer a female. Not all are like this of course, but it is looking that it may be an issue.

It's only been 2 weeks, but we could really use him working, after being in school the last year!

Do you have any ideas what are where he should be looking? Any tips?

Oh and if you are looking for a massage therapist in Denver he's your man ;) ***can't blame me for trying can you?***

Have him apply at "Massage Envy". It is a massage clinic where they supply the tables, and supplies, while they also pay hourly plus he makes tips. I used to work at one here in CA, and they have locations all over the US...and are growing rapidly. It has a very theraputic atmosphere...great place to work. Their website is www.massageenvy.com

They are very flexible with their therapists hours, and he can gain great clientel. Many people like to hire females because some people feel uncomfortable getting massages from men, but men often get a lot more clientel because they can also do firmer pressure. Massage Envy hires both men and women and are often looking for Men so their clinics can have more Deep Pressure available.

Most high end hotels or resorts have spas or fitness centers and I think it would be a good idea to apply at these types of places.

How Chinese needles and pins therapy?
