I have talked to my doctor and she says that its probably because im athletic.

Which i am, but i think im just a slow grower.
Will birth control trigger my period?


Answers:

If you are underweight (look up a BMI calcualtor on Google to check) or if you are really athletic, that could delay puberty. Either way, its usually not a sign of health so you need to get to the doctor soon.
