Birth control side effects?
I just recently started taking birth control oh about 5 days ago. I had nothing the first 3 days then suddenly it hit me yesterday and today. I'm sad, i'm mad, I'm frustrated, tired, upset tummy. Is there anything to help reduce this side effects. I'm such a mild tempered person all these emotions and hormones are making me crazy!!! How long does this go on???

It could continue throughout the entire time you're on this pill. I took Ortho Tricyclen Lo and the added horomones in it made me crazy. I was constantly sad, I always picked a fight with anyone I could talk to, and I was unhappy in general. I'd give it time though. You just started this pill, so maybe this is you're way of adjusting. Continue taking the pill, but if this problem is still around after two months of this pill, talk to your doctor about trying something different. I'm on Yasmin now, and I feel so much better. I'm back to my normal self again!
One thing that will help while these symptoms persist is every time you get upset over something, try to stop and think about why you're upset. Write it down in a journal and when you're not upset anymore, crack it open and read it to yourself. How does it sound? Stupid? Reasonable? You'll be less upset later if it happens again when you remember that you had gotten upset before over something similar. This may or may not work. It's different for everyone.
